BE MORE ACCEPTING!!

Okay, so I’m sure you’ve all heard these words before. I am also sure you all probably think that you are accepting, well at least, of the standard things, such as caste, creed and color. However, we live in 2018! And honestly, the world has more dimensions than that, people have more dimensions than that, to themselves! How many times have you walked into a room and immediately started looking at how people are dressed, whether one is sporting the latest trend, or is one able to “pull off” what they are wearing. Did you also, like any other high school kid, see the ones who study and get marks as “nerds” and the ones who don’t as “badass”. Well then I’m probably right, and the truth is, you are not infact that accepting. Certain mannerism or quirks one has to their personality which you find irritating, might just be adored by someone else. I myself, talk in a childlike voice, when I’m around the people I love, and when I’m in a playful mood. Some people find it cute
MAKE IN INDIA May 26th 2014, undoubtedly left one of the most interesting mark on history when Narendra Modi who steered the BJP-led NDA to a stunning victory sworn in as the 15th Prime Minister of the country. The central government was back in action after a long time and swarmed the economy with various policies. One such initiative is ‘Make in India'. This most appreciated as well as criticised policy of the government was launched globally in September 2014 as a part of the Government of India’s renewed focus on invigorating the country’s manufacturing sector.  The   primary goal of the project was to make India a global manufacturing hub, by encouraging both multinational as well as domestic companies to manufacture their products within the country with a view to raise the contribution of the manufacturing sector to 25% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by the year 2025. The logo of ‘Make in India’, a lion made of gear wheels, reflects the integr

Thousands of women’s marches held worldwide to protest Trump and sexual misconduct!

Thousands of women and their male supporters turned out on Saturday for the second Women's March, a nationwide series of protests against US President Donald Trump marking the end of his tumultuous first year in office. The co-ordinated rallies in Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and about 250 other cities in the United States, as well as overseas locations, featured speaker after speaker blasting Trump for policies that many said hurt women. Many of the protesters wore pink knit "pussy hats", which were created for last year's march as a reference to a comment made by Trump about female genitalia, The caps quickly became a symbol of women's empowerment and opposition to the new President in the early days of his administration.       In response to the marches, Mr Trump tweeted that it was a “perfect day” for women to march to celebrate the “economic success and wealth creation” that’s happened during his first year in office - while wome
INDIA AND ISRAEL India and Israel go way back. As early as the 1940s. From military ties to bilateral trade to interfaith there's little that the nations haven't done. Let's have a brief look at the history between our country and the middle eastern nation. Ezer Weizman became the first Israeli President to visit India in 1997. Diplomatic ties were established in January 1992. In 2000 the two countries set up a joint anti- terror commission. From 1999 to 2009 the military business between the two was worth around $9 billion.  Now that we have drawn a brief timeline, let's discuss the recent happenings. The six day visit by the Israeli  Prime Minister,  Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu commenced on 15 January 2018 with an intention to boost trade and tourism between countries. Mr Netanyahu was accompanied by a 130 member delegation from various sectors including cyber and defense. He was personally welcomed by his Indian counterpart upon arriving at the New Delhi airport and

Vacation-The world awaits you!

Vacations. The world simply gives us all pure joy. As a child one of the fondest memories each of us have are of the summer holidays. Sadly, we aren't exactly children anymore, however the pure bliss of vacation time hasn't changed. Each person spends their vacation in their own way. Joining courses, doing recreational activities, taking a family trip and what not?! However the initial few days of us all are mostly the same. Where all that matters is the bed, food, tv shows, movies and novels. But in a while, we all come out of this phase, and decide to utilise the spare time. For me, and hopefully for a lot of other people, the best way to spend the vacation time, is to travel. The whole concept of choosing a location, exploring it, seeing new things and meeting new and different people just excites me to the core. Each time i'm back from a vacation all i can think of is when to take the next one. Its almost addictive! Its truly rightly said, each place you

War within the system; democracy under threat

The nation witnessed an appalling incident on Friday, asserted as the worst crisis in the country’s judicial history when the four most senior judges of the Supreme Court publicly released a seven-page letter which was earlier written to the Chief Justice of India(CJI), Dipak Misra , pointing out the fact that the whole of the justice delivery system of the country is in a really bad shape. Reportedly, at a press conference held at Justice Jasti Chelameswar’s residence, Justices Ranjan Gogoi, Chelameswar, Madan B Lokur and Kurian Joseph targeted the CJI saying that “ we tried to collectively persuade the Chief Justice that certain things are not in order and he must take remedial measures but our efforts failed”.       This unprecedented crisis has significantly put the integrity and credibility of the SC at stake. The entire nation is questioning the administrative functioning of the judicial system. The four justices and the CJI together make the current Supreme Court Co
