With this riposte to Lord Stark’s threatening
words, she made it absolutely clear that she, Cersei Lannister isn’t someone to
mess with.
From
one-time Queen turned Queen Mother of Westeros to Queen of the seven kingdoms
once again, Cersei has maintained a reputation of an angry and ruthless woman
throughout the series. That said, one can’t agree more to the fact that she always
has a reason behind her madness. Shehas been and could be cold, calculating,
manipulative and mean, but is always in service of what she believes is best
for her children and her house Lannister.
She has the courage to cross limits for her
family and a zeal to be a true ruler. Her elegant gowns are a masquerade; she withholds
the sword and shield, whether she’s scheming
to outsmart her enemies or using her power to simply get what she wants; Cersei,
the ever uncompromising, never lets her guard down, and as we may say in modern
slang that she is one badass queen.
Lena Headey plays the Queen Reagent with
utmost conviction that Cersei has evolved from a villain to a survivor.
Unabashed and unapologetic, the Queen knows what she wants. She is the
personification of her birth sigil, the lion.
