WHY STUDYING A  MASTER’S DEGREE IN FRANCE IS A LUCRATIVE OPTION

France isn’t just well known worldwide for its attractive tourist destinations, it’s culture or food, but is  also a home to a large number of world-class universities. If you are looking forward to a post-graduate program in one of the countries in Europe, then France seems to be a  must-have on your list.
With a tradition of excellence in education, France even boasts of rendering inexpensive quality education to students across the world . Since the French universities are well funded with heavy investments from the French Government, the cost of tuitions  is very low, making the Masters programs in France  the most affordable ones in Europe. The post programs there are very research -oriented, focusing mainly on enriching the professional skills. Another incentive that the French education adds  to is the smaller class sizes and the devoted professors.
The bonus is that International students enjoy the same benefits as local students with regards to the tuition fees and affordable accommodation. You can even work whilst studying. If you are proficient in English language, you can impart education to the French students who are keenenough to learn English, and hence earn a good sum to cover up a bit of your cost of living.
POST GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN FRANCE ARE CATEGORIZED INTO THREE:
i.                     TAUGHT MASTERS (MAs /MSCs /M.Eng): Programs where lectures and tutorials are delivered to students, who are expected to undertake a good degree of research on specific topics.
ii.                   RESEARCH MASTERS (MRes/ MA by Research): These are considered the pre-requisites to entering PhD programs , with the prior emphasis being laid on fostering the research skills of the students.
iii.                  DOCTORATES AND PHDs :These are the doctoral degree programs wherein you are expected to conduct extensive research.
While most Masters programs can be earned within a period of 2 years, the length of study is largely dependent upon the area of study which you have selected.

France's higher education is split into two:
I.                    PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES : There are 83 Public universities and other major Public establishments that award academic degrees.
II.                  GRANDES ÉCOLES: These are the groups of elite higher education institutions which award highly advanced academic degrees and follow extremely rigorous and selective admission process.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Although France ranks in the top host European countries for English-taught Masters’ programs, international students end up learning French in order to fit in and widen their horizons. For courses like MSc in Economics or Technology, or concentrating on the wide arena of business, English is the standard medium for delivering lectures and seminars. Even developing French language skills is highly desirable as it definitely boosts your CV.
Courses in French requires appearing for DELF & DALF tests . You are required to acquire a  minimum of DELF 5 Score.
For courses in English, you need to sit for the internationally accepted English language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CAF and CPE.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
I.                    INTERVIEW: This may be required for top- notch Masters, particularly in large elite institutions like GrandesÉcoles.
II.                  ADMISSION TESTS: These test vary as per the courses you have selected. University B-Schools require MBA applicants to submit a G-MAT or GRE Score. GrandesÉcoles may set their own admission procedures.
III.                ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPTS: Your transcripts ought to be properly certified by the institution that granted you the undergraduate degree. A large GPA score is advisable to enable you to make it onto esteemed universities.
IV.                APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Passport that is valid for a period of 3 months post the expiration date of your study, proof of university enrollment and valid health insurance.
Some colleges even require a Statement of Purpose and a written essay regarding your interests of study.
V.                  Other requirements include evidence of English proficiency, satisfactory long-term study  visa ,proof of adequate financial resources ,etc.
STUDENTS' VISA:Apart from students within EU, and from Switzerland,, all other International students require a VLS-TS Extended-Stay Vida with residency permit.
AAPPLICATION DEADLINES: : The normal closing date for a Master's degree at a French University is Jan 31st. However, the application deadlines for Masters at GrandesÉcoles and other elite institutions may be more variable.
