YOU GOT TO YOUR WORK.YOU HAVE GOT TO LIKE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE DOING SOMETHING WORTHWHILE SO YOU CAN LIKE IT – BECAUSE IT IS WORTHWHILE, THAT IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE , DONT YOU SEE? - Colonel Sanders
Nothing worth comes easy. Life is a hit and trial
where one has to keep trying their chances. If you still have a breath, you
have time for your dreams.
So is the life story of Mr. Colonel Sanders. The
most inspiring story of falling down but not giving up. It was not before the age
of 66 when Sanders found the very famous franchise restaurant Kentucky Fried
Chicken or KFC.
The journey to KFC had been arduous and not very
pleasing. After a chain of failures and losses, at the age of 88, Harland
sanders was a billionaire. Even after 35 years to his Death, his face is the
symbol of the most successful franchise restaurant, KFC.
Sanders first built
an identity on fried chicken while running a service station with his mistress,
who following his divorce would become his second wife — a point made in one of
Sanders’ autobiographies. At the age of 65 he sold his first restaurant and
began developing the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in the earnest. Nearly
60-years-old, he would spend days at a restaurant, peddling his chicken
technique, cooking for customers, and often sleeping in the back of his car.
His early life too
had never been too pleasurable. His father died when he was 5. At 17 he had
lost four Jobs. After joining the army, he even got washed out there. His wife
left him and he was thus forced to part with his kids. He felt like a failure
but the harshest of situations couldn’t break him till death at 90. Nervous
once, he also considered suicide but strong will lead him to his dreams. Here
is a video showing the inspirational story of Harland Sanders:
